It is better to prevent than to treat. If u are pregnant or you’re planning to loose weight make sure you apply olive oil on the skin to prevent stretch marks. Olive oil restores skin tissue due to its rich content of vitamin E. Using it in the morning and after the shower it will help you have a soft, healthy skin without experience stretch marks.
You can as well use aloe vera to reduce or eliminate the stretch marks. If you have an aloe vera plant at home, cut a few leaves and extract its gel. If you don’t have a plant at home, you can buy the extract from the pharmacy. Massage the affected skin with this extract for 5 minutes. After 20 minutes rinse with warm water.
Potatoes juice also helps skin cells to recover after a suddenly stretching. Is not necessary to make potato juice, you can cut a potato in slices and then gently massage the problem areas. This tip works also on lemons. You can choose to juice a lemon and drip it on a cotton pad or simply cut the lemon in slices and gently rub the stretch marks with a circular motion for 2 minutes. Let it dry and wait 10 minutes until the acids of the lemons penetrate the the skin and treat the stretch marks. After that rinse with warm water.
